Opus 28

pay attention to hands together, the usual buzzes and pedal changes, and play it more slowly - it doesn't really make a difference. Hand fall off strings at same point for some reason.

Post Vacation

I'm going to try for 15 minutes of practice today to start reconditioning my hands after a week away from the harp. If I can get up from the computer. Of course, I've already sat down and played quietly earlier, but I'm not counting that towards my time.

I almost have Rêverie memorized. Some skips and bumps.

Opus 28 just has one remaining hiccup.

There are about 4 spots in Opus 28 where I trip up in the memorizing.

Rêverie - worked on 3 against 4.

Almost have Opus 28 memorized. Need to do that with others! They're so easy!

Starting work on Rêverie, since it's been stuck in my head from Westworld.

Goal:
★ Work on Roslin and Adama. It's fine! It didn't need any work.
★ I instead, played through everything, and ended up doing detail work on Satie and O'Halloran. I played for two hours, and my hands needed to be plunged into a sink of cold water afterward. Ow.

Goals:
★ Run through Satie. Also played Pachelbel and Opuses.
☆ Start memorizing music
Map out practice days of alternating 30DtD. Can probably start with 3rd week with everything. Record everything asap. Also plan listening time.

Got all the pedal markings in O'Halloran's book.

I thought my elbow was healed, but I did something else to piss it off, so now it's hurting again.

Trying to relearn Solfeggeitto by KPE Bach and I'm getting now that it's just the same pattern repeated in different keys. I also need to play it more evenly. Do I need to make a practice sheet?

Also trying to work on the problem measures in Automne on 2nd page. Not sure why the transition from line to line is so difficult to have stick in my head. Got tired trying to play it 5x well and let myself not work on it as hard as I could have.

Got Dennis O'Halloran's book of piano solos and wrote in a lot of pedal changes.
